Dear Members, Adherents and Friends:
We are sure you are well aware of the Coronovirus or Covid-19. This Virus has certainly stopped everyone in their tracks (so to speak). It is indeed appropriate that we inform you of the decision made by the Official Board of Third Avenue on Wednesday, March 18th.
Worship Services, Youth Activities and the Bible Study Group have all been suspended for the rest of March and April and may be until further notice. All other rental groups have now suspended their meetings and gatherings until further notice, and some will not reconvene until Fall.
With many services being suspended, you will know that for your own personal households, the regular bills will still continue to arrive every month. This situation is the same for us at Third Avenue. Our church depends on the regular donations of our members and adherents in order to maintain a sound financial footing. We are kindly asking that, if at all possible, you can hopefully continue to fulfill your weekly/monthly contributions. We certainly understand that some are on fixed income budgets and some could be laid off from their jobs. Under these circumstances, our suggestions cannot be considered. If you are a regular contributor, please consider giving a little more. This invitation is also open to those who are on PAR (pre-authorized remittance). If you need assistance with your donation phone our church office and make arrangement with our office coordinator.
With all of the concerns around Coronavirus 19, we are also concerned about your well being. If you have any concerns and need to contact us please feel free to call or leave a message at (306-445-8171).
We thank you for your continued support to Third Avenue and we sincerely hope we will be able to come together soon to reconvene Worship and other activities. We look forward to hearing from you at any time as we are thinking about how much we miss seeing all of you.
